Spend the day discovering Jeddah’s UNESCO-listed treasures. Start at the lively Fish Market, Continue to the Tayebat Museum then step into the historic lanes of Al-Balad, where coral-stone houses and carved wooden balconies recall centuries of trade. Visit Souk Al-Alawi, explore Nassif House, and pause at the ancient Al Shafi’i Mosque.then visiting the striking Floating Mosque. In the evening, admire the world’s tallest King Fahd Fountain and take a leisurely stroll along the Corniche. Overnight in Jeddah.
Fly south to Najran, where palm groves meet desert sands. Discover the Najran Museum, Walk among the ruins of Al-Ukhdood, an ancient city, explore the grand Emirate Palace, once the seat of governance, and wander the bustling Dagger Souq (Janabi Market), famed for traditional jambiya blades. Explore Al-Aan Palace perched on a hilltop, and drive to Ra'um Mountain then walk up to the imposing Ra’um Castle, if time permit we will visit the historic Hima Well, a centuries-old water source. Overnight in Najran.
Journey through the dramatic landscapes of Wadi Lajab, a canyon with waterfalls and streams, and wind up to the terraced farms of the Fayfa Mountains, known as the “hanging gardens of Saudi Arabia.” En route, stop at the House of Al-Rifai and the Heritage Village to see traditional Najran culture. Continue to Jazan for overnight stay.
Begin with Al Dosariyah Castle, a coastal fortress overlooking the Red Sea. Then travel inland to Rijal Almaa, a stunning heritage village with colorful stone houses. Ascend to Jabal Souda, Saudi Arabia’s highest peak, with breathtaking views over the Asir mountains. Later, visit the Al-Abo Sarrah Palaces before arriving in Abha. Overnight in Abha.
Spend the morning exploring a visit to the Abha Market (Souq Al Thulatha) then climb to Shamsan Castle, wander the Aseer Regional Museum, and see Shada Palace, admire art and handicrafts, then enjoy a view from the Green Mountain. After visit Dam of Abha, transfer for your flight back to Jeddah for onward departure.
